The Child Learning Center is an inclusive toddler and preschool program located in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at CU Boulder.  With teacher Amy Thrasher, department SLP’s Karin Boerger and Lynea Pearson, and a team of graduate student clinicians, the CLC maintains a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children and their families while providing training for students specializing in speech-language pathology, early childhood education, and special education.  Families are considered partners in their children's learning process.  CLC teachers and staff are committed to using best practices and in family-centered teaming and developmentally appropriate learning.  The Storybook Journey is an integral part of the curriculum.  For more information on the CLC, contact Amy Thrasher, amy.thrasher@colorado.edu.
